"In the Eye of the Sun" - Ritual Performance
Within the Project Series "Crossing Cultures" of the "Afro-Asian Institute Graz". [Bildmaterial]
A project series by the Afro-Asiatic Institute Graz to force extraeuropean contacts and project partnerships.
Some acts and shows out of "INTIÑAHUI – In the eye of the sun" were part of the series [ass. Autumn 2004].
One part was the interdisciplinary performance by Klaus Schrefler [visual works] and Luis Viracocha [archaic dance] 1. Oct 2004.
As well there was built a „Crossing Sculpture“, a close cooperation between Luis Viracocha [Ecuador], Walter Ackerl [Austria] and the Visual Media Artist Klaus Schrefler [Austria], who planned and initialized the overall project. The work in marble was built in the summer of 2004 in the heart of Styria.
